HI THERE! I'M CHARLOTTE...
...and I'm a freelance digital marketing specialist! Since 2015, I have worked in several roles in the world of digital marketing and e-commerce and decided to go freelance in 2023.
I am originally from the UK but work remotely from all over the world. I primarily work with small businesses, helping them to achieve their marketing goals one step at a time.
My specialism is in Paid Social Media - boosting your social media content to grow your online presence, generate website traffic and encourage engagement.

A LITTLE MORE ABOUT ME...
In 2015, I started my degree in Editorial & Advertising Photography at the University of Gloucestershire. I've always been a very creative person but it was at this point, I realised I could start to make a career from it.
I'd always had a keen interest in running my own small business and starting exploring independent businesses in the UK.
My first full time, non-hospitality job outside of university was at a small, start-up ecommerce company. I was hired initially as a Content Creator however, as we were only a team of 2 to begin with, I quickly began to wear many hats (see photo as proof...)
Whilst at university and even during this role, I continued in search of running my own ecommerce business. During lockdown, as I'm sure everyone did, I tried lots of different crafts until I discovered I loved making things with epoxy resin, particularly earrings.
This is where I started my small jewellery business 'Daisy Corner' - named after the tiny house I was operating from. I sold at several markets over the next few years - interacting with other small business owners - which only further ignited my love of independent businesses.
Unfortunately, epoxy resin took a lot of time and space that I simply didn't have. I waved Au Revoir to Daisy Corner and my small business...for now...
With my knowledge of ecommerce and online marketplaces, I moved into a full-time role as Digital Marketing Manager at a small company called SLG Brands. During my time at SLG, I worked with numerous brands including Velvotan, COLAB Dry Shampoo, Rhyme & Reason Haircare, Johnny's Chop Shop, RuPaul at Superdrug & loads more.
I managed all facets of digital marketing from media buying to website management to email marketing and thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it.
My favourite part of the job was managing our Paid Social Media - so much so, I designed a full test-and-learn program which employees at TikTok HQ were impressed with.
The work I contributed to the social media channels at SLG secured us two awards: an official TikTok award for 'Greatest Performance' & the 'Superdrug Social Savvy of the Year' award.

FINALLY...
My passion for small businesses lead me to pursuing freelance digital marketing, working with the independents that I gravitated towards.
I am a passionate, hardworking, friendly and creative person who will execute a marketing plan with meticulous detail and a smile on my face.
In my spare time, I like being outdoors (especially with furry friends), cooking and baking, cross stitching and embroidering the silliest things and spending time with friends and family.
