Backstory

Johnny's Chop Shop is a barbershop chain and men's grooming brand. With heritage in Soho, London, and Brooklyn, New York, Johnny's Chop Shop is a blend of retro Americana with modern trend innovations. The brand also prides itself on being made by barbers, for barbers.  

Main Responsibilities

  • Website & Ecommerce Management
    • Regularly checking their website and Amazon stores to confirm everything is running smoothly.
    • Updating content and uploading new assets - optimised for high performance on the designated platform.
    • Ordering and monitoring stock levels.


  • Google Ads Management
    • Setting up Google Video ads aimed toward increasing brand awareness.
    • Utilising pre-existing YouTube content to storyboard and plan our ads.


  • Social Media Ads Management
    • Setting up TikTok ads aimed toward increasing brand awareness, video engagement, gaining followers and driving traffic to retailers.
    • Analysing results and making decisions to optimise towards Johnny's Chop Shop's budget and overall marketing goals.
    • Testing new features and audiences to improve our ad strategy.


  • Email Marketing Management
    • Brainstorming with the Johnny's Chop Shop Marketing Manager about blog content ideas.
    • Creating unique email marketing campaigns and automated email chains.
    • Analysing campaign performance to see what's working and what improvements can be made to aid open/click rates.
